Try to finalise your case without delay or extra legal costs. Avoid adjournments, unless for very good reason.
Be ready to proceed at 930am, if a court is available to hear your case. You should be at court at 9am, not 10am. It avoids a long wait behind other cases.

Generally, you should see a lawyer before you speak with police. It will make a huge difference to your case if you provide a proper defence in a police interview to any allegations made.
Legal advice can also protect you against harmful cross examination at a Contest if you don’t have to give evidence, as your defence was already properly outlined in your interview.
A “No Comment” or “Rambling Answers” interview is never the best response to a police investigation.
Likewise, you may avoid being charged in the first place if you outline a legitimate defence in a police interview.
If you don’t receive legal advice, or you do nothing to prepare for the police interview, or you make “no comment”, then you’re more likely to end up on charges, and facing court.
